Fire in the Skies
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
So it's been a long time since I've posted and decided; now that I'm finally gonna get a break, that I should post some artwork up. This doesn't mean i'm jumping back into the drama of being a furry. But i will be showing more art and such, love you all and I hope you enjoy what is soon to come.
This piece was initially called anger, because of the expression of the wolf (look closely at his face I put a lot of detail into this). But with the addition of the scythe I think it pulls away from it just being an emotion. Now let me tell you about the HELL that scythe put me through! Do you want to know how long ago I had completed this wolf? More than half a year ago! But for the life of me, I couldn't think up a proper weapon, I tried, over and over drawing weapon after weapon: scythes, swords, nunchucks, daggers, etc. And still nothing looked right, either they looked to punk, or too fantasy, or just too plain. So finally I just sat down last week and was like, I'm going to draw something no matter what it is, no matter how bad or good I'm going to draw it and say this is finished. So I drew and colored the scythe before you, and I actually liked it, but the I wan't to add some fantasy element to the piece to make it stand out, so I started studying heated metal and attempted to capture that effect onto the scythe and I feel it's pretty nice for a first try. I'd appreciate it if you critiqued and rated the image. i like hearing feed back whether it's positive or negative. Thank you.
