This was the very first drawing I managed to in Photoshop after I got long-term access to the program. It's not my best work compared to my current stuff, but hey, I think it looks nice. At the time, I hadn't done any fan art of adult Simba and Nala yet, which seemed kind of sad to me since I love the pairing. So in short, I made this. It's meant to be set shortly after Simba's Pride, where Kiara is preparing to become the next queen of the Pride Lands in the aftermath of her union to Kovu. All the signs point to her being an exceptional queen once she gets the chance, and Simba is certain that she'll make a wonderful successor to him on the throne. (Which she will. <3) But no matter what happens, Simba will always know who his true queen is.

And yes, I used their second movie color schemes. So sue me.
