It is good, way better then that summer wars, that movie really pissed me off, I hate that movie

i dont think i saw that one, i just heard the plot for wold children and knew i had to see it! i freaking love ame and yiki, they are just so adorable ;o;

It is cute. I do like that movie. But Summer Wars was stupid and people love that one as well, its just so gahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

It has cool characters like visually, but thats it. Basically the plot is about how this one family is apparently the absolute greatest family in the world, they all worship the 80 year old granny goomba and love their family so much as family is everything, yet they treat the adopted son like shit and a piece of shit and never accepted him as family, so he sells this program to the US government, this ultimate hacking program for the military, and it gets put in this great internet database called OZ. And basically everyone in the world uses OZ and puts their whole life in it and all their business in it (metaphor for online now with facebook and bank accounts and your whole life online) but the US government tests this new program by making an avatar that goes into OZ and causes havoc and it ends up causing a near nuclear disaster for fear the program would get into nuclear files and control the weapons via government data websites. This program pretty much took over all of japan, took all the data of banks and avatars of people, and then this super family apparently everyone is a computer genius and can do hacking and coding even on a DS and at the end of the movie it all ends up on a game of hanafuda cards against this program and its just like Okay we get it, dont put your entire lives on the internet because its stupid and hackers get into every and this family is the greatest family of all time

It sounds like it could be a good movie if the chars are likeable but if they treat an adopted child badly for being adopted? No that are arses! Why is that such a common thing DX
The internet part kinda sounds like Digimon though and I loved that, but I don't think that will save it....

The adopted child redeems himself though and just the over outpour of that family being the greatest family ever. They never say they are the greatest family every, but wow they just make it seem like it is. The message is family is important, but still its annoying in that movie. Other points is that granny goomba contacts her old friends whom used to run the country back in the era before internet as when this program takes control, everyone is helpless as a baby without the internet, which deals more into the whole point of dont put your entire life in the internet and dont rely on it for everything. I enjoyed some of the character avatars, that King Kazma obviously was the coolest avatar (hence its massive popularity on the net), but other then visuals its not much. Its like Avatar, that movie is shit but everyone loves it because it looks pretty and its very hippie.

It does seam a little.....on the nose maybe....think imma give it a miss and just watch wolf children again CB

Wolf children is very cute, though some scenes I could think of some funny stuff to say

lol ya! like when hana and the dad have sex, i watched it (again) with my family and my brother instantly said 'guess shes a furry' X'D

I first watched this movie with my nephew, whom was 13 at the time so didnt expect these things. At that scene we figured she was scared out of her mind. I mean here is this guy who just turns into this creature, so to her he could look intimidating and he wants to bone her, so of course shes gonna submit for fear of her life. However she ended up liking the knot and just dealt with it haha

I know they loved one another, but watching it,its sometimes fun to joke around like saying she was scared because he was a monster so she submitted sexually. Some things were off such as how he died, just randomly decides to go for a hunt, gets killed hunting, and well you know

Well I was wondering if it was age? At 10 Ames wolf form was an adult so maybe his died of old age? Still broke my heart! They just dumped him too ;3;

That I was glad they did, shock value. Just picked up the body, tossed it into the truck, crushed it on site, and she had to watch the whole thing with the children there, unable to mention anything of him being the husband.

Good ol shock value. I was worried this movie would be like Summer Wars with a huge message when watching, like the communist thing of them relying on one another in that village, for a moment I thought that was going to be the whole message and rest of the movie, but it wasnt so I was like yay

Aww yes! It was so lovely! Watching her look after her babies and there wolfness! Geeees I wanna watch it now!

I have it. My bro got it for me as a gift a year and some months back. They were having a sale on both summerwars and wolf children, so he got both. I didnt like summer wars, got rid of that one, but I kept wolf children as its very awesome
