Vassalized Earth (After events of VE) - Map
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
An updated map of Earth, in my series Vassalized Earth. Click to see full size.
The series is about the occupation of Earth by an alien monarchy. As you can see, the division of the planet is a little bit different.
Old Map: https://www.sofurry.com/view/1098633
First Chapter of the Series: https://www.sofurry.com/view/1063533
For reference, this map is set after the events of the story and there have been changes to the political layout. You might notice that Europa and Eurasia has been split into two and that the Kingdom's direct holdings have increased. These are all things that will come up when I return to Earth in my writing.
The increased amount of rebels are all retcons though, except for the increased amount in South America, that is story relevant. Presume that the previous map was a propaganda piece that downplayed how many areas are not under control by the Empire.
Created using Europa Universalis 4's Custom Nation editor. Thanks to for the suggestion!

But it's interesting that the ruling class allows them to stay mostly independent. I'm guessing its for publicity. By showing that the Empire, and king of earth, recognise and respect historically autonomous regions they hope to show that they respect and recognise human history. Its just a really interesting bit of politics that make this story so interesting.
It's kind of an experiment with native autonomy and seeing how practical it is for them. I haven't really developed it that much aside from it existing, but Switzerland was picked due to historical Swiss neutrality (Though they weren't neutral during this war, but weren't really hit hard.) and Rome as kind of a way of integrating what the Empire perceived as the largest religion on the planet.
As mentioned, I haven't really developed them that much, but although they're autonomous, they're still subjects to the Kingdom.
Not to be mean but I have an urge to add a arrow to it and have it say you are here. XD
Nate would be right next to the yellow island on Western North America.
Serious question though, having interest in reading this series, I saw the folder and the side list are... incomplete? Chapter numbers are not continuous and the 'first' chapter seems to be the third...?
Am I just missing something? (The pseudo chapter mentioning this is over and the start of a new series does have a link for new readers, but it links to the epilogue?)
Thanks for the heads up on the Epilogue's link. That was embarrassing and I've fixed it. Here's the first chapter anyways:

I'm not seeing the issue in the folder's list on my account, the chapters show up in correct order there. I'll make a separate account and check it out when I'm done with work to see if it only shows up on other user's end.
The issue I mean was that going by the folder of the story, this is how it shows:

I may have misunderstood all this time, but I thought those side numbers are the chapter number, and should go normally (1-2-3-4-etc), rather than jump some as it does right now)
Your link is Chapter 1 indeed, is there any reason its not in the index? Along with 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, etc?
I think you might have a tag filtered that makes those chapters appear like that at:
https://www.sofurry.com/user/tag/tagFilter
When I filtered out particular tags, I was able to get the chapters to vanish in a very similar way by filtering a particular tag. (It was nothing too 'hardcore', the tag I used as an example.)
Damn, i thought filters would only affect searches, but if I was inside the story already I could see al chapters even with them on.
Huh.
Thanks! Sorry for the mess up. '>_>
