So, i came up with this arpeggio in a 5/4 time signature. I wanted to see if i can work with an odd meter and turn it into somthing that grooves. Just to know if i am able to addapt to unusual writing conditions. It came out just the way i wanted it to be. I emphasized the off beat on the kick drum and let the bass play syncapated notes to create a polyrhythm of 4/4 over 5/4. It was really fun working on it and watching the whole thing unfold. Maybe, at some point i´ll come up with a melody for this.
