Maybe they're on a hill? Actually, look outside. On a cloudy day, they go right down to the horizon in the distance. The only problem might be lack of depth of field which doesn't matter much in a cartoon. I doubt many people are going to notice unless they're really pitiful looking.
More importantly though, are we going to see frisk's mum so we can judge for ourselves?
