So I LOVE film noir. ALWAYS have. Probably in my top five favorite art styles / genres. I've seen ALL the classics and plenty of neo-noir as well. Sin City anyone? :P
Anywho those of you who know me know I'm NOT an artist. I'm a writer...although NONE of my various stories/series have been uploaded here as of yet. Aaand I'm rambling. I do that...but anywho I took a self portrait of myself in one of my many suits and my new leather trench coat. I then proceeded to cut my own head off and splice in a cool pic of a raven I got from a stock photo site so's I cant be sued! :D
Tweaked it a bit (Okay a LOT) with some photo apps and WALLA! A piece I'm NOT very proud of! But here it is. Enjoy! Or don't...your call...whatever... *flaps away*

Aww thanks! No worries. lol. If you like noir though you'll love it. Its basically a love letter to the genre. ;3

Your welcome. :3 Okay. I guess I wou- ... ... I believe I did watch something of the sort... I guess it was The Raven or something like that. It dealed with a guy who was brought back from the dead, gangsters, a raven, a cat and his lover who had died alojg with him...

Anyways, I guess I can check that out. :3 Sin City... That name does ring a bell however. :p

That would be the crow. one of my favorite films of all time. Yes It definitely has some elements of noir in it. ;3

If that was just a taste of noir in it, then I guess I should see how the full flavor is like, as that too is my favorite film. ^^

Now, if you would please, may you please point out what types of movies have a hint of noir or is in that category? *lazy crow is lazy :3*
