Prisum Cyberpunk
Yet another 12$ pixelart commission I made.
This one was to be themed cyberpunk.
It was especially difficult to come up with an outfit as I'm most used to Mediaeval fantasy.
Also, the character's chest is very colorful and I wanted it to pop, and yet I wanted the main black fur to not blend in too much with the rest, nor the background.
I often hear people tell you can't use pure black in pixelart except for outlines. imho that's wrong, you just need to make sure your distinct volumes have high enough contrast between eachother.
Lining with black is optional, it's just a way to ensure you keep a high contrast color to outline anything by never making anything too close to black.
