This is a character to another friend of mine, Tykari. One of the more unique characters I've had the privilege to get to know and color too, I might add. Part feline and part plant, this character is quite interesting and has been in play for many years. I love when I can add a little vibrancy to something that is so important to someone. :)

This piece took me a bit longer to finish than usual due to all the detailing just for the flat colors and my hand is thanking me it's done, lol. It was 5 days and roughly 3 hours per at least? Most were streamed.

Flat colors. Background was going to be pretty simple too but I kept playing with it, and during the last stream of the picture a sun was mentioned, so I experimented with adding a sun in the background. Came out looking like the sun was rising and was adding a dense almost jungle-like haze. Perfect for someone like Tykari who loves her forest!
It was really enjoyable to color this. I just wish I could've been able to shade it but it's really intimidating to me.
Later on when I feel more comfortable with shading I may just come back to this and edit it further.
