Here's page 2 of le comic... I'm hoping in the process of doing this I'll pick up some new skills in GIMP and gain some strategies for comic-making, etc. I'm still getting used to digital stuff. For some reason it just doesn't feel the same as making traditional art ._.

This isn't going to be be my only story, though. I've got a second one already planned out, and I'm going to illustrate two for my mom. Hopefully by then we'll be able to get Photoshop. My next one is going to be more futuristic in a depressed government with some pretty epic twists, and one of the main characters will be an ocelot. In the other two I'm doing for my mom, one will be completely fantasy, while the other will be more like your modern comic book with a pup being the hero :).

The pages should start getting more exciting from here on out. I just needed a corny "get up, get ready, go to work" scene because I'm corny like that. :P

I've got the story planned out in general and the main ideas written out(I did most of the planning in the shower, of course, where all intensive thought process is done), and the first 4-5 pages specifically planned out.

Still pretty excited to get this thing on the road :3
