Artistic freedom rules!
It wasn't revealed yet, remember when she talked with Iris about having a memento? You can see its shadow on the wall and what it means in the most basic of forms
Basically every picture of a character has a hidden meaning or a personality trait, be it in a pose or the background. Some were already revealed, some merely nicked and others not touched at all. Probably Creep is the only straighforward one and Flare the most obvious:P
Flare and Danox’ shadows, Iris’ reflection, Coriza’s cosmetics, the scene behind Amela and Creep is just Creep. Did I get them all?
Actually my top three look like this:
1.Amela
2.Creep
3.Flare
You guys don't sit in my head so you won't catch all of the details, but in most cases there are more things to the picture than meets the eye.
Flare shadow is obvious, his other part of the personality is presented in the pose which was based on cat catching a ball, add to that the smile and you have Flare as he is presented in the story. Nothing to hide here, all his rough edges were basically revealed, details are only missing, but those need to be found in the story:p
Danox is more than just that shadow, his soul is caught in the daring expression, the flirty lick, especially if you consider the fact that he is licking blood from his own paw, blood that coincidentally :wink wink: can be seen on his sharp blade tail tip. There's a meaning behind that. Not to mention his otherwordly black eyes and the dark veins on his snout:P
Iris is also more than just the reflection, actually both are a part of her( the flesh and the mirage). In fact the way the reflection is shown, transparent and barely visible, this is also important. Her pose and expression play a big role in depicting her. It's actually based on a sexual position named "humble" in the submissive dictionary, morphed of course into a quadrupel version with the addition of her soul. In Iris case you can pick every detail of the picure apart and it would tell a story of its own, we see an example when we mesh all of them together.
Coriza is shown in her house, her comfort zone, her pose based on a bowing horse, greeting us with a smile. basically politness and respect, we knew her from that side already. It's not the cosmetics per se, it's the way they pour out from the closet making a mess, the door reamining slightly opened, pointing that there are more of this stuff crampled in there. She keeps up the pretense of politness and gratefulness of a host, but we see her hind paw bent , the toes on her fores also crunched, trying to hide claws that are of a different color than her natural silver. We know Coriza acts differently when she is alone and when she is around people, has two personalities so to speak, this picture wanted to show those personalities and here we caught her when she was shifting from the playful one to the serious one, yet unable to clean up everything properly( shyly trying to cover up her painted claws)
Amela is actually easy and you are correct, it's the shadow behind her. We didn't get to details yet tho.
Creep is just Creep:D
I would say she's around 50-60 in human years, look at her fur and ringlets, fur is grey and the dots are basically faded, young cheetahs are bright orange and have dots black as ink.
