"What's wrong?" asked Mila, taking note of her girlfriend's less-than-enthusiastic expression. Worry creased her brow. "Don't you love me?"
Dulce's eyes snapped forward as panic set in. "No! I mean, it's not that!" she sputtered, and her eyes stung with impending tears, "I do love you, but..."
"Didn't you say you wanted to get married someday? We can now!" Mila squeezed the bovine's little hands, though not aggressively.
"Yes, but... not now..." replied Dulce, "Not so soon, anyways..." She couldn't describe just how she felt about it, except for her burning desire to discontinue the conversation. "Another time, okay?"
Mila nodded, crestfallen. "Okay, then. Another time."

I made this for when the U.S. marriage equality thing went through but I kind of failed at making it look like a good thing lmao. Mila is gung-ho about marriage, whereas Dulce would rather not talk about it with her girlfriend of a few months. xD
