\n They both hold each other as they both look away
\n They both look forward unsure if they'll stay

\n The man named Aiden decides to let go
\n As he begins to move forward into the unknown

\n Aiden then turned and gave a small sigh
\n As he stopped to stare into his lover, Ethans, eyes

\n Aiden could see that his lovers in fear
\n As he walks to the unknown and begins to disappear

\n "Wait!" yelled Ethan who had thought to stay back

\n Ethan then runs forward into the unknown
\n But now he was scared fore his lovers not shown

\n He then feels a touch that had left him cold
\n As he turns around and feels his heart unfold

\n "For what? Because you felt it should have been you instead?

\n "No, because I know it would have been best

\n My pain would be over and it would have subdued

\n Aiden looks down as he smiles with tears
\n as the other looks up no longer in fear

\n "But you have people who love you waiting down there"
\n "No! I have someone who loves me and he's standing right here"

\n Aiden now clueless on what to say
\n Was trying to keep the painful goodbye at bay

\n Ethan lifts his head as he starts to talk
\n "Can I just ask that we have this one last walk?"

\n Aiden now smiles and puts out his hand

\n Ethan had smiled although somewhat scared

\n Aiden looked down, they're both crying right now

\n "I'm sorry my love, but this is my end"
\n "I will not stand here and believe that you're dead!"

\n Aiden now felt his lover cry and tremble in sorrow
\n Because he knew that this would not be here tomorrow

\n And I'd want nothing more then to be with you

\n But this is my time and surely you know."
\n Ethan just nods unsure to let go

\n It's just hard to think that now we can't be."

\n "I know, I know" as Aiden held close
\n But now his time was up as his fate had been chose

\n Ethans eyes now widened as it was abundantly clear
\n As his lover had smile and began to disappear

\n They both looked at each other, in smile, and tears
\n Hand in hand as he faded right there

\n "I love you, Aiden" he said in an unbearably sad sight
\n "I love you too, Ethan" Aiden said before vanising in light

\n Ethan collapsed in unbearable pain
\n As he clenched his fist knowing life won't be the same

\n He then sat alone in this room of all white light
\n As he began to feel his muscles clench and get tight

\n He couldn't suppress his feelings no more
\n Pain, grief, and sorrow gave his heart a sore

\n He then screamed out "Why!" as loud as he could
\n As his tears became rivers which can be understood

\n Because he just lost the love of all his life
\n And now his heart will never suffice

\n He sat alone for hours in this spiritual place
\n As he then stood up with tears still down his face

\n He then reached his room and laid in his bed
\n 'I'll love and miss you so much Aiden' he had said in his head

\n Ethan slowly weeped as he began to rest
\n And woke up next morning with a note on his chest

\n Ethan now felt he was put in deadlock
\n as he read this letter completely in shock

\n 'Dear Ethan' was what the first line had read
\n 'I don't want to leave you with inconclusive thoughts in your head


\n So please don't blame yourself for that night
\n because you gave it your damnedest for me just to fight

\n You protected me as I laid in that bed
\n And no one would guess that I would be dead

\n But you pushed on and smiled beside me
\n And I love you for that, more then their could be

\n And you were the only one their when the doctor had said
\n That I don't have long before I am dead

\n But you held my hand and decided to stay
\n As you had watched my life begin to slip away

\n Finally, then my heart-line went flat
\n As I said I love you and you said it back

\n And the last memory I has was you smiling at me
\n While I shut my eyes and smile slowly

\n Now Ethan please would you do this for me?
\n Keep living on and do not dwell on me

\n Because I'm right there close to your heart
\n So do not think that were ever apart

\n We've done so many magnificent things through our years
\n and all those memories I will hold dear

\n And then saw a necklace with a solid gold heart

\n It was a locket so he then looked inside
\n A picture of them both on each side

\n He then closed the locket to look at the back
\n It said I love you which made his heart go slack

\n Ethan then put it on, happily in pride
\n Because his emotions for Aiden he could not hide

\n And now he knew they'd never be apart
\n Because of his locket that was shaped as a heart

\n And he knew that someday they'll be together
