You are lucky you still got the time and ispiration to draw such fine pics.
And I'm glad you are, since I enjoy your style :3
Thank you, that means a lot to me! I'm trying to turn out pictures more often now ^.^
This picture expresses a problem that needs to be solved. The lack of time is like a virus in modern society. I never manage to do everything that's on my mind. I've to set priorities and defer things every day. Even if I have no duties or appointments an entire day it's just not enough time. And the more days pass the more ideas I have. Even if I wouldn't need any food or sleep, even if I was a mechanic being or something there ain't enough time. As far as I know that is an important source for the burnout-syndrom. And the number of people suffering this and likewise psychiological disorders is increasing. I guess it is obvious something has to change, and since mankind hasn't evolved much the last 6000 years the society should calm down a bit. The humans should be the most important thing to take care of in a company, since that's where most people spend most of their time, even more important then gain. Speaking about gain ... this has a way too high priority anyway.
I'm sorry if I talk to much at this point, but this topic is important to me. It hurts to watch a society going down for gain. An it is not only the society.
Anyway, I'm happy if I can help and I'd love to dicuss such topics on the chat or forum, some time. I'm really looking forward to more of your art.
I've learn't to adapt to the lack of time, because working full time and for some reason being the person my family calls if their computers breaks doesn't give me a lot of solid time to draw. So can sometimes spend half a year on a picture to get it done, just working on it everynow and then. (I think this one I started mid last year). It's not because they take ages to draw, but because I need the time to sit undisturbed and draw.
The company I work for a very good to me. I'm the inhouse designer and they'll leave me my time to draw my own personal pictures in my breaks which is really good for my productivity.
I think there's a lot to be gained from sitting back from all this pointless noise and just being with your own thoughts.
I don't really use chat rooms but I do use MSN if you'd like my email.
It sounds like you found the right job. I'm still unsure about mine.
What exactly do you mean by: "I know where you're coming from?"

It's a smaller community site, look for its banner here on SF.
The picture is amazing and the idea behind it is even deeper than what I expected.
5/5? This deserves a 10.
