This was one of the last propeller driven fighter/attack aircraft and arguably the best. They served through the Vietnam War.

Aka the Flying Dumptruck, so called because of the ginormous amount of ordnance it could carry. It could fly slow enough so that the Hueys could keep up with it, so they could have immediate air support available.

It was a great attack aircraft that could also loiter for long periods, something jets of the era were woefully incapable of doing.
