Well, sketched this up last night so I decided to actually give coloring and finishing something a try.

Basically she's from a race that lacks centralized eyes, instead havign photoreceptors all over their skins. This means that they have a full 360 degree view of their world, however, because the photoreceptor clusters are very primitive, they cannot see in any great detail. Instead, they evolved to navigate their world by touch and feel, evolving prehensile, sensitive tendrils from their heads. These tentacles have broad, flat ends that can wrap around an object, giving her a perfect, 360 degree "image" of the object in her mind. The three way prehensile tongue is also incredibly sensitive, being able to explore through sand and rocks for her favorite crustaceans and mollusks.

But yeah, a WIP that I'm going to be coloring more on later.
