I stretched a little far for this idea, but I'm rather proud of it so hear me out. The prompt words were "bait" and "idol" so here's my little two sentence horror story to pair with the image;

The idol kept singing, drawing the monsters ever nearer. He acted as bait to keep them away from the village, sacrificing himself in the process.
