Too busy to notice the blue-screen of death
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
This pic not only intends to put some backstory on my character of Jack, it was also a bit of vent art.
Not necessarily for frustration, but mostly for all the things that are nibbling at me when doing artwork lately, especially my comic project. That would be things like obsessing over poses and anatomy, to then being almost scared of looking at the final product out of fear I might realize I might have fucked up something.
Such tension can provide the concentration to be as good as I can currently, but it also increases the risk of blocking myself with the fear of failure, the very thing that is inevitable on the path of learning. So I did this drawing relatively quickly, without applying the ruler too much, and, most important, without worrying too much. Because art should be fun, most of all, and not so much worries, as it has been often for me lately.
What it depicts is Jack at work in his office, but since I couldn't decide for a profession, I leave it open to interpretation (I love that phrase, and how it is sometimes used by pretentious fucks when they want to hide the fact they have no idea what they're doing XD). I love how Jack is sporting the purple shirt, and how I as a functionally color-blind person could never wear something like that. Sadly, I don't have Jack's fashion-sense, only his gayness :lmao:
