This was another project done as a bit of a warmup, and I'm happy to say that I'm getting the hang of realism again. I'm still a ways off from where I used to be, but I'm getting there. This is helping me identify my problems and aloowing me to improve my own methods, so if anyone else has a portrait they'd like me to try, I can not stress enough the fact that I am doing these for FREE.

Anyway, info on this pic. This was done for AlexanderW, a portrait of his puppy based on my take of four reference pictures he provided to me. This was completed on white paper using graphite pencils (2B and 5B). It took approx. an hour and fifteen minutes to complete.
