Saya x Nicholas: Cold Bonding
Back again with these two. My only part is that I forgot to put the wings on the shy, silly, adorable, little bat. I'll get it right next time.

Cold Bonding
It was now November and the weather was turning very cold. Saya, although she had warm clothes, didn't like it as much because the female would rather have it be sunny and warm. At least some of her other friends like Shayde liked this weather, although that polar bear sometimes made the mistake of wearing skirts. Even though this female could handle the cold, wearing that type of clothes wasn't right at this time of year.
Saya's thoughts then turned to Nicholas and what had happened with him last month. Everything about the guy left the bat in a daze and her heart beating fast. The blush would come onto the female's cheeks and butterflies would form in the stomach. Enough time had passed for Saya to think about how she felt about the fosky and knew what was in her heart. But at this moment couldn't think it in her mind or say it out loud to herself.
"Saya?" called a familiar voice, causing the bat to come back to reality. In an instant she was by the guy side and it was Nicholas.
"Hey," the female whispered while blushing. The bat noticed the fosky was wearing long layers like her and how handsome Nicholas looked. "What brings you here?"
"I could very well ask you that," he responded with a smile. "However I came out here because I needed to pick some stuff up. What about you?"
"Just a walk," Saya answered.
"Would you like to join me?" the male asked. "I wouldn't mind the company. Especially since it's you." The bat blushed harder but nodded with a smile. The two began to walk and talk a bit about what they had enjoyed at that Halloween party and some other things. It then eventually came to what the plains were for Thanksgiving. "I'll be spending it with my family," the fosky stated. "What about you?"
"Oh! Well…" Saya trailed off. The subject was a bit sensitive and the bat didn't quite feel up to opening up about her past. At least when it came to that dark part. "I think I'll be with my friends on that day."
Nicholas heard the tone she used and thought there was more to it. "Er… is there something I should know about?" He then saw the look on the female's face and the guy's face softened. "You don't have to talk about it now if you don't want to. But when you are, I'll listen."
"Thanks," Saya responded and couldn't help but give the guy a one arm squeeze. It caused him to stop in surprise but only for a second. Nicholas went a bit further by returning it with a full hug. Now it was her turn to act the same way. But couldn't help but resist staying that way and returning it. It was this action that caused the bat to finally say it in her mind. "I like you… I really like you," she thought. Even if there were other problems that got in the way, Saya's feelings for Nicholas weren't going to change. The female didn't realize just how much he felt the same way and would be a better thing in her life.

Finally she admits it. I'm looking forward to doing more.
