This is one of the truly big issues we will face if we ever have Furries or meet aliens. What will the differences in our basic biology do to us/them and our relationships? Furries are most likely NOT going to be just "humans with fur and tails".

I agree!
That's one of the basic premises behind "Tina's story"- two worlds learning to live together. In some ways, they're the same, but different in others.
As 'Tina' fans know, the story is a furry parable about the struggle of any minority to find acceptance.
