Nine Tails of Ion

A future concept idea I have for Ion, since his soul is intertwined with Flint's after his serious injury, his being would be closer to the mystic, maybe to the point when his friends pass on, their souls get intertwined with his as well to the point where Ion becomes his world's first kyuubi. The people of Ion's world do have longer then normal lifespans, ranging to anywhere between 200-300 years, with special cases like Zephyr's Galefox family having double that due to their really long tails or even the floof dragons being just immortal. Ion's soul combined with Flint's made his lifespan almost immortal but combined with all the others, he does become one, though an unnatural one. Each tail Ion has takes on the colouring of the soul it belonged to while still retaining the shape of his normal fox tail, with each one able to split out into a familiar of Ion to fight by his side, retaining the consciousness of who the soul belonged to. Helping to keep all the souls in balance with his, Ion wears a special crystal that is know by the Ravager Hunters to attract souls, the same material that soul snatches make their special containers out of. Ion can communicate with each of the souls inside of him, either when they are familiars of him or when he enters his mind in the dreamscape as otherwise all the souls share the same thoughts and memories of Ion when together as one. While Ion would have all nine of his tails while fighting, as it is his natural from that he has become, he is able to conceal his other eight tails while out in public, to make him look like a normal fox. Though his friends may be gone in their physical forms (except for Lazar), them being able to live on inside of him allows them to be together forever, with Ion being the caretaker of their souls, something he cherishes as a positive effect of his "curse" he has to live with
