I Am Not A Monster (Undertale Fanart)
Hey SF. Been a while hasn't it?
I've been in a real bad funk this past year unable to feel any drive to start or complete anything. I think I've only written a few incomplete stories and made a few sketches this past year (a few dark depressing Drawings at that). Been also trying to do something more with my TimidTabby Plays YouTube channel...but ancient technology and horrible software has nearly killed my progression.
Thankfully (if not without the cost of most of my Tax Refund); I now have a better computer and upgraded graphics card to not only play my PC games a ridiculous quality, but...well, I actually don't know yet if my video editing software will run any better yet, hehe ^___^; ...but I will find out shortly. The next TTPlay's videos I want to start posting is my 1st time gameplay of the Internet's latest Indie Sensation, UNDERTALE by Toby Fox. A few people (and celebrities) have been suggesting this game since it came out, but I never got around to it until this past month. Had to force myself to skip past spoilers until I did skipping art, webcomics, and other Let's Plays. Glad I did too.
I won't sing it's praises, but UNDERTALE is pretty accurate to its Fame. Horrible to hear the Fanbase sounds...well, not so good these days, but that's just what I heard. Still doesn't stop it from being a pretty good game to play (just be weary about contemplating a Genocide run...I could only watch someone else play that and it still tainted my soul with ugliness). Music is the most addicting gem of original 8-16 bit chiptunes blended with piano, violin, and rock I've heard in a while.
Okay; so now HOW does all that relate to today's artwork?
As mentioned; I will be posting my Pacifist run on my YouTube channel eventually, but I felt I wanted something personal for the Intro title card instead of just some generic png of a character or something (even though that's planned for each episode title card, hehe). I also had some inspiration to make this from viewing a dA artist's work. Certainly looks a lot better than my version so give the artist some props if you can.
I'm not a professional at drawing if you can tell by now, but I do feel some sense of Pride with this one. I learned some neat techniques and tools to how to enhance my digital version from my sketch. Still lots to learn but hoping to start making some more digital works in the future.
