Ref Sheet: Calvin Riley
Not my art! I commissioned the extremely talented HomogenousRule to make reference sheets for the two main characters in Blue and Gray.
Blue and Gray is a novel about two soldiers on opposite sides of a war whose lives are changed forever by a chance encounter on the battlefield. It's a furry gay erotic romance novel in a historical setting, but it's also a kind of adventure story where the two protagonists go on a physical and metaphorical journey to find freedom, redemption, love... home.
This is Calvin, a Union soldier who is struggling to reconcile the things he's done in the war with who he was before it started. HomogenousRule did an amazing job conveying his state of mind before he meets Flynn in the 4th pose where he's in his uniform. They also did an amazing job on the uniform itself!
