[i]Private First Class Chunky, combat mechanic of the Star Corps, the hardcore, heavy-weight "go anywhere" defenders of the Galactic Republic. Signing on with the Corps out of a sense of duty and a strong childhood memory of them saving his homeworld from a Wuff raid, the black-and-white feline showed a particular talent for mechanics and was quickly transferred onto a technical track after the S.T.O.U.T. gene treatments turned him into a wide warrior of the Republic. A dedicated, intelligent techie and consummate warrior, the Hearth Star represents his first true challenge as a trooper of the Star Corps...
It was a small camp, barely more then ten humans in it and all of them recently resettled after being rescued from the Wuff-controlled upper decks. Lt. Jerky had originally sent Chunky down as a goodwill gesture, have the combat mechanic make sure their defenses in the old storage bay were up to snuff and treat any nearby nesting predators to a leisurely tour of a Star Trooper's gastrointestinal tract. It was supposed to be simple, check a few bulkhead doors, see if they had enough barricades appropriately placed, then leave if they didn't need anything else. Unfortunately a Wuff gang found this camp not long after Chunky arrived... unfortunately for the Wuffs that is. After reporting his status, the feline braced himself against an empty cargo container and began to demonstrate to the six 'bishie' wolves with rainbow colored hair gathered above him why a fully-automatic gyrojet Big Fracking Rifle beat six anime power-blades.[/i]
