Closing in on the co-ordinates obtained from the toads is nothing short of nerve racking, thankfully with Felicia having been giving me some information over the past few months and learning the shuttle is in their clutches, I had been given some time to mentally prepare for this. Hopefully we'll learn exactly what they are doing with it...






Jenny looks to me "Exiting ftl in thirty seconds." followed by Felicia "We do have reinforcements from the Aldebaran navy but it will be a little longer before we have any assault craft."






I nod "Our mission is clear now, destroy any enemy forces and secure this sector by any means. Felicia as soon as we exit emit jamming signals and static code, Jenny I need your help in hacking their systems so we know what are dealing with and any details you can find." earning nods from both felines "Alright, it's time to go to war!"






The Executioner leaves ftl and we find a decent-sized space station that resembles a cylinder and roughly the size of a battle cruiser, around it are various toad ships, some are of older design and not the angler one we just saw... there's time to debate on the design changes later, right now all that matters is dealing with what is in front of us. Felicia confirms that they are blind and silent and Jenny gets underway in cracking the stations security... I have the Executioner zoom towards the toads as I have the pods detach.






I open comms "Attention toad forces, this is Adam of Aldebaran! Surrender or be destroyed, you have thirty seconds to comply!"






Surprisingly the toads launch a mass of surrender flares with confirmation of surrender by various toad captains with some even providing visual confirmation via hailing. Some Aldebaran vessel affiliated with the Sisterhood arrive which consists of a heavy cruiser, three standard cruisers and half a dozen frigates.






I open frequencies with our reinforcements "The toads are disarming, hold your fire. I need a ship to board and secure the station."






I hear "This is the frigate Eye-Seer, moving to board." with confirmation from two other frigates in support.






To the left we see signs of something big coming out of ftl which Jenny confirms, I quickly alert the Aldebaran fleet as we get into a formation... what comes out is nothing short of crazy. A massive Aldebaran station arrives, it's overall look resembling a star... matter of fact it looks kind of like Libra from Gundam Wing, but the outside is in this silver sheen with even from here memory stones can be seen and rather then being angular it's rounded. The two cats freeze as they stare at the station in dread with Felicia looking like she is about to go into full panic mode.






An Aldebaran comes on screen that I have seen in records "This is Master Audrey, the leader of those that will succeed you. This is the battle station known as the Gaze of Oblivion, what was to be the main defense of the Aldebaran homeworld in it's orbit as the sole Quark-Class will now serve as the key to our victory, see the error of your ways and side with me!"






I open comms with her and everyone in the area "Audrey, listen to me! This rebellion has gone on long enough, at the rate this conflict is going there will be nothing left in the Aniverse!"






The cat gives a smirk "All the more reason for you to side with me! Think about it Reaper, with this station nothing will be able to stand against us... if you join me I'll give you a high rank and a place in the new order. That's a far better fate then joining the toads in their extinction!"






Jenny and Felicia look to me and I can only imagine everyone is watching, waiting for me to make the call "I would rather die fighting for the Sisterhood and Aldebaran I know and love then allow you to take control! And I am more then ready to die if it means Aldebaran lives another day." glaring at the traitor.






Jenny looks stunned but Felicia nods as she puts on a more sharp look while looking at the screen "As am I, Princess Felicia of the throne!", Jenny blinks but gives a smirk for a moment before declaring "This is Master Jenny, I'll help put an end to this madness."






The other Aldebaran captains declare more or less what I have said but they all claim that they'll stand against Audrey, not just for Aldebaran but for the Aniverse as well. What's surprising is that the toad captains offer to us their firepower which I gladly accept as we're going to need all the punch we can get, their ships join ours and their main batteries aim at the massive station... the enemy of my enemy is my friend I guess. All of the ships saying that they are ready to go on my order, to be fair I don't like our odds, from what I have seen the Aldebaran tech I know can do, I can only imagine what such a creation can achieve.






Audrey gives a very strong glare "Then you can all die together in defiance!", she looks off-screen "Prepare to attack!" and cuts her transmission.






"All forces, move to engage and be ready to evade!", Jenny looks to me with those green eyes as she looks to be thinking of something, she gives a light nod, I smirk "IRON WITHIN! IRON WITHOUT!"






I have the Executioner take the lead as we move to engagement range, the large memory stones on the tips of the four quadrants glow this powerful red, firing very slowly these large ruby-colored beams which we easily dodge, but a toad ship gets caught and in a split second it is no more. As we get closer these plasma cannons and particle beams open fire, just the sheer barrage is insane as a few ships become quickly overwhelmed as a few feline ships move to try to cover those of the toads with their more sturdy shielding.






Jenny looks to me "Those memory stones on the tips, if we hit those it may disrupt the entire power system!"






Felicia is frantically typing some commands "If they held to our design philosophy then it is worth a shot."






"Moving in for a strafing run!"






We manage to get close and I unleash a full barrage against the large memory stone but the station emits this blinding white light upon impact.






I look behind us "What kind of shield is that?!"






Jenny stammers for a moment "That thing is equipped with a white globe generator!!!"






Felicia snaps her gaze to her "Seriously? I have seen black globe generators but those are museum pieces and deemed unfeasible to be produced. Last I checked the white globe was still on the drawing board!"






"We need to find a way to bypass it!"






The blue hair cat looks to me "We need to be kissing the thing to do that!"






I bring the Executioner about as one of tips fires it's beam and obliterates an Aldebaran cruiser "Then let's pucker up!" as I send some commands to the pods to force them to overload.






We zoom towards the station once more with two toad light cruisers joining us, this time x-ray laser in triple mounts open up in all directions, I open fire with the weapons on the Executioner itself, the white light consuming the shots as if they are nothing, the large memory stone begins to glow as the two toad vessels succumb to battle damage, at the last second I break the Executioner away as I have the two pods boost and smash into the glowing stone, detonating like large shaped charges and the beam fires, the beam grazes the rear section whch sends sparks all over the place as the engines explode, I quickly have the bridge eject and the body of the Executioner flies away, exploding a few seconds later. The stations crystal explodes and violently sends this ruby-colored shockwave across the void-structure, small explosions echoing across it, it's not completely destroyed but now it's all torn up.






I raise my right hand as a fist "POW!!! RIGHT IN THE KISSER!!!" as the two cats cheer.

On the bridge of the station, it is alive with chaos as Audrey gets up off the floor as she helps an officer up, she looks around and looks to Irene "Damage report?!"






Irene looks at a schematic of the station "The third extended body has suffered extensive damage with it's psionic-beam generator being destroyed, our weapons and the white globe generator are down along with secondary power.", she looks to he master "That body has also lost gravity and life support, evacuations are currently underway."






Another cat gets to her console "Our drive is fine but our hull is compromised across the surface and our primary power system is offline, we've also lost gunnery control altogether."






Audrey looks to the enemy fleet with a venomous glare 'Beaten by a primitive!?' she swallows her pride "Activate the drive and retreat, we're sitting ducks otherwise.", she gets back into her command chair "We have repairs to do and we need a plan of attack, they can have the three other ones, it won't matter once we have the main weapon online."

The station enters ftl and warps out, but it is a bittersweet victory, two feline vessels lost which are a cruiser and frigate while a few took some damage with the toads having lost most of the forces stationed here, we eventually have the remaining ships dock with the station as Bucky with his crew arrives with a few other mammal vessels. We did lose the Executioner but we did gain some amazing data from it, though this new battle station really shakes things up... and not in a good way, we may have damaged it but it is still operational.






Bucky sighs "These rebel forces are turning into a real pain in the florist." he puts on a smirk of relief "But it's nice to see you back on the front."






A toad scientist comes over which earns our attention "We weren't expecting anyone from the UAC any time soon, but we are thankful, going renegade against Komplex has a lot of consequence.", he looks to me "And it is good that you are here as we needed you to be here too."






Bucky looks him over "You broke away from Komplex? That's great news but where is the shuttle."






The toad has us follow him "The shuttle itself has long been taken apart, what Komplex was interested in was the warp technology in it." he glances to us "We discovered that there are three more of your friend here and we managed to break through the space time to one of them."






I become stunned "You established contact with him?"






The toad shakes his head "No, we were trying to create plasma weapons and we gave the examples to a faction to test them, it did influence them starting a war which the human and his allies put down."






We get to this large room with various screens, sturdy power systems and device about the size of a large truck giving this yellow glow. He types a few keys into the computer and it shows footage of two of the other me's, one in the heat of combat wielding a sword I had never seen before with a blaster of some sort, his chest plat having what looks like a winged red fox, speaking of foxes, there is a blue vixen fighting by his side in some of the footage and a male one in armor firing a blaster of his own. The other one is spraying an mg3 in some footage and in others he's using an akm with another vixen that looks like normal fox but has blue hair using a handgun that fires electrical bolts.






The toad looks to me "We refer you as Enigma, the one with the red fox we refer to as Alpha as we identified him as first, the next one with the blue-haired fox is Sigma. The only one unaccounted for so far is Delta, but as far as we can tell they have sided with things like law enforcement and protectors."






Jenny looks to him "What are the details behind them though? Their experiences?"






The toad glances to her "The only one we have real information on is Alpha as he was the start. What we know is that he is in the galaxy where all of this originated, but this faction known as the Venom's targeted and destroyed Earth, Alpha was able to save what he could but the loss was signifigant."






I freeze as I hear those words with everyone looking right at me, I decide to mourn that for later no matter how hard it sounds "And the Venom's?"






The toad adjusts his glasses "Alpha destroyed their world in the end, Venom is no longer habitable and the Venom's themselves almost became extinct."






It's a heck of a lot to take in, the Earth I know is lost and that Alpha had succeeded in settling the score sort-of speak while more then likely ending a major threat. The scientist also tells us what they know of Sigma who works for a law enforcement agency known as Interpol, the only thing up in the air is Delta who comes out of transit as we talk. We need them to reinforce us, their skills could be the very thing that'll help us turn the tide and more importantly end this crazy war once and for all.






Bucky comes over "It's up to you Adam, what do we do?"






"We need them on our side we have to try, we'll start with Alpha, then Sigma and finally Delta, with any luck their allies will follow them.", I give a sigh "But I need to get a new ship going and we need to move this station to Aldebaran's orbit for protection."






Bucky folds his arms "Speaking of which, the Air Marshal's fleet was gone by the time we got there, according to Queen Katrina they simply warped out after you left."






That raises quite a few questions I'm sure we'll get those answers at some point... did he purposely go to Aldebaran to try to lure me out or get trapped by the Aldebaran's themselves? Did he want to give us the data in the end? If that is true, then that means the Empire is starting to fracture from within which says a lot, but given their recent schisms in recent time it's not as far fetched it would have been close to a year ago. After talking about it with Bucky and Jenny about where exactly the UAC is, we need reinforcements in this conflict and this might be how we can get them, Bucky offers to bring me to where Alpha is with Jenny and Felicia wanting to come along. I accept but to make sure I have a ship I commission the mkIII of the Executioner as I had already created the blue prints for it, plus the data gathered just now for the mkII will help it's creation greatly.






We get the station and the remains of the toad fleet to Aldebaran's orbit, it turns out one side of the cylinder is designed to create a portal to other dimensions which is going to come in handy as we begin to talk with the scientist of making more of these and different versions for planetary use as well and not just space. The defecting toads wish to fight alongside us and like the other toads who have come to our side we decide to give them a shot and after looking at the new ships and equipment the toads have made... and they are cut back to say the least, they must be hurting if they are turning to these designs, but it does make sense.






But now the new mission is clear, meet up with the three others and bring both them and their allies into the fold, the only way we are going to turn all of this around. This is all being given an operational name given what needs to take place... Operation: Fracture.
