Daily Doodle: Gnoll Warrior
The idea behind this guy (and honestly a few others) is that they form a guard for a mage king, in a world where mage kings aren't liked. In fact they are pretty much loathed due to a past war that several mage kings were the cause of. However this mage king comes into power in a kingdom that's pretty much a 3rd world land. So what does he do? He makes it a sanctuary for those like him that are outcasts. Enter in gnolls, minotaurs, kobalds, orcs, etc all flee to from otherwise human, dwarf, and elven held lands where they have suffered persecution.
Enter in the royal guard as there are those who'd like to see this ruler dead, but of course the royal guard may have to protect him at all times...even in bed. :) *winks*
