A solemn and quiet raven who has troubles with his heritage. Leaving his family and everything behind he travels the world to hone his mind and body, trying to find an answer to his life's purpose. Wishing to be alone to meditate and trying to keep interactions minimal, he prefers to be alone but cannot, for his life, find peace with all the folks flocking to him in earnest interest of his appearance. Having wings on his back makes him of the Birdman suptype an uncommon feature of Avians. His girlfriend, Aster, is of the Harpy subtype, the most ubiquitous and known to have their wings attached to their arms. Birdman types are far more combat oriented than their Harpy cousins.

His Grandfather, a Harris' Hawk, courted and later eloped with his grandmother, an oriental raven, after her family refused to 'taint' their bloodline with an outsider's blood. They gave birth to his mother who later married another raven. Sagiso was born after that and was adopted into the Tenrai family, his grandmother's maiden name. The family is powerful and influential, taking part in the underground business of illegal activities. As the main family was unable to birth a male heir, Sagiso was brought in as a placeholder until one is born. Having none of it, he stayed with them long enough to learn the art of combat before ditching them. He eludes his captors and is working as a mercenary or on occasion, a trader of goods.
