Joe And Ellie
Joe and Ellie, exploring the frozen wasteland for clues.
This is the first time my two protagonists have been drawn together, and part of that is that money doesn't stretch as far as it used to, but also because I have been trying to be much more selective than I was in the past as far as what art I commission.
Joe is a husband and father from the city of Coldhaven. Ellie is an officer on a military train, and together they will try to solve the mystery of a disaster over four decades old. But to do that, they have to survive in the first place.
I like how this picture shows how much larger/taller Joe is than Ellie. Although I'd assumed as much due to their species it's nice to see it illustrated, as it informs my subconscious efforts while I tell their story together.
