lol The first time I drove stick was in a Union Pacific truck at a cabin on the Platte river. I backed it into a stump.... No damage but still. After that, I did fine. I was 15 and would drive my older friend home from the cabin at night after he got drunk. Guess a 15 year old is safer than an 'under the influence' person. So, big day for Tina. Getting laid and learning to drive too!

Mine was a Ford Cortina, and a VW Microbus. But, in a couple days I was good enough to get around without embarrassing myself.

First time I drove I was in a school parking lot. We practiced driving forward and then in reverse. For about a millisec I didn't realize I was still in reverse after we had gotten to the end of the road. My Mom totally flipped because she got scared. Needless to say I was a lot more careful after that and Mom never panicked again because it made me freak out and be unable to think XD

Also I'm definitely glad when I started driving I coasted everywhere before I started pressing the gas. I wanted to make sure I could steer well first and didn't drive into a ditch haha. Now Tina has learned this lesson. Hopefully she'll be just as good at driving as the rest of us soon :P

I'm very happy that she didn't give up, and that Ray was so good with her. Street driving is something else, all those other cars. I'm lucky I live in the country and I learned to drive in a big hay field in a old farm truck and tractor before they let me on the road.

Not a soul has NOT been where she is. XD Wipe the tears away, a few words of encouragement and try again. Before you know it you'll be doing well.

Their temperaments seem well suited to one another. Tina is naive and passionate, ray, jaded and laid back.
