First FR artwork in a while. they're a bit more advanced than the AU, and they wear their version of the Interceptor Body Armor. their helmet is also similar to the PASGT helmet used by the US Army up to around 2004.
As the AU, the FR is 65% female (25% herm, %10 male) in its military, and males are often treated as inferior by the majority of the military, so it's perfectly normal to see females with female mates as well. the supply situation is complicated if you're male, and you'll probably be issued a female flak vest, and it'll take a while for them to send you a vest in your size.
The main radio they use for comms is the RC-32 radio. within the smaller units, however, the RC-48 is used (it's smaller, but has a limited range of about 4 miles in urban terrain.)
The main Assault Rifle of the FR is the newly introduced FA-19 Assault Rifle. It can be fitted with a 40mm grenade launcher, and a variety of scopes, ranging from night vision, to long range, to the standard 1.5-4 power illuminated scope (similar to an ACOG) It fires 7.62 rounds, with a magazine capacity of 20 rounds.
Their vests are Kevlar all around, with SAPI plates covering the chest, and back. the groin protector, and collar, however, are just Kevlar. It has webbing similar to PALS webbing, and is MOLLE compatible.
The FR itself is not so much a country, as a military that protects Anthros everywhere. They still have a country of their own, but most of the population is military, as the other percent of the population are things like Fire department, doctors, teachers, government, etc...
The main species of the FR is Fox (so, Vixen, basically) and is mostly canine. they're often pretty musky smelling (especially the females) and they just don't get why some people don't like their musky smell X3 It's not that they're dirty, and unhygenic (though they all are when they've been in the field for a week), they just smell that way.
Fun Fact: most FR citizens have never seen a Human before.
