The Puga Tree
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
A Pegasus named Blue Streak, came across some strange trees in a private orchard. Hanging from the trees were huge peach-like fruit. He reached up to touch one. The fruit felt squishy and its skin was soft, but as he reached, he brushed against what looked like a curly root sticking out of the tree and it very quickly twisted and curled around his waist. Its grip on him was very strong as it pulled him toward itself. Seemingly without any effort despite his struggles, Blue was pulled into the tree, waist first, doubling him over as the trunk stretched around him. The pressure squeezed the air from his lungs and he thought that it would be the end. He could feel himself being pushed up the tree, but for the moment he couldn't think, barely giving it any thought, even as the pressure around him eased a little. Not until he felt the warmth of the sun, and a gentle breeze on his rear end, did he come back to himself. The sensations then, were very odd, and he was confused about what was happening, but he noticed that he no longer felt a need to breathe. It was sometime after the motions had stopped that he realised what had happened to himself.
