Zi-69 Stealth Rabbit
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
[Had an attempt at making my own Zoid after re-watching Chaotic Century, New Century, Fusion, Genesis, and a few on line marvel Zoid comics.]
[A total blast from the past for me!]
Name: Zi-69 Stealth Rabbit
Type: Rabbit
Crew: 1 (in prone cockpit)
Weight: 24 tons
Length: 13.2 meters
Height: 5 meters
Equipment: Composite Sensor Unit, 3D Radar Antennae, Stealth Technology.
Weapons: Laser Fang Incisors (Signature); Strike Laser Claws (4)
Max Speed:
Above Ground - 190 km/h (118 mph)
Below Ground – 80 km/h (50mph)
Additional:
Despite appearances the Zi-69 Stealth Rabbit is a giant killer, by compromising the ground of carefully selected ambush sites, the zoid is capable of constructing interconnecting subterranean tunnels that collapse under the weight of a larger zoid, this in turn allows the Stealth Rabbit to cripple the opponent via attacking the backs of the foes joints, weaponry and sometimes a Stealth Rabbit pilot may opt to attack the enemy’s cockpit. However, zoids in the same weight and size class as the Gojulas, would require a team of five or more Stealth Rabbits to attempt this tactic as even a toppled Gojulas is still very much a dangerous proposition to take on even for a well-coordinated stealth Team.
While not the fastest of the high-speed zoids the Stealth Rabbit is by no means slow and can more than make up for differences in speed of swifter zoids with its incredibly rate of acceleration combined with equally impressive ability to make sudden changes in direction with minimal reduction in speed, even when running flat out it is able to perform incredibly tight turns to allude its pursuer/pursuers when caught out in the open.
Primarily designed for stealth, ambush and recon operations the Stealth Rabbit boasts a multitude of specialised features reflecting its specialist roles, such as highly advanced sensors, a heat dispensing system to minimise its heat signature and a sound muffling system on its legs enabling it to run near-silently. However, the Stealth Rabbit operates at its best in sandy, forest, grassland & urban environments where it’s size and high manoeuvrability allows it to operate at optimal performance, while buried the Stealth Rabbit is able to avoid both passive and active radar, it can still be detected via the use of a GPR (ground penetrating radar).
For all of its abilities the Stealth Rabbit is not suited for open combat where faster zoids can chase it down or even take it out with ranged weaponry since its light armour leaves it highly vulnerable to attack by hostile forces, used correctly a team of Stealth Rabbits can easily take down zoids of considerable size such as the Iron Kong, Red/Dark Horn, Elephander, Mammoth and even in numbers, the mighty Gojulas. But used incorrectly and it will be chased down, crushed underfoot by a significantly larger opponent or just simply destroyed from a distance via ranged weaponry.
