Hm, I can't find anything lousy in that picture. Have confidence in your self! What you have there can be considered simple, I agree, but still it has something to it. And it's yours, your creation.
Writing is art and creativity, too, so there you have prove of your skills. Maybe you might want try to combine these things, make art of words and symbols like claigraphers do. In a style like on that picture I am sure you can creat some nice pictures.
