Originally created through sorcery by an ambitious and amoral wizard, the chimera had no name and no identity: he was but a living weapon and a pawn in his master's unconscionable research. But when his master died unexpectedly, leaving him free of control for the first time in his life, he was forced to try to make something more of his existence than what he had been created for. Possessed of a keen intellegence, he adopted the name Choir as a representation of what he was, and taught himself as much as he could using his master's libraries. But his monstrous appearance--and savage instincts and short temper, against which he continually struggles--kept him isolated from society in spite of his efforts. He remains determined to find meaning in his life, however, whether anyone else is willing to help him or not.
