Very nicely done.
Digital art is good, but there is something very unique about hand drawn images.
But if your in school for stuff like that I know where you can go to get a very good discount on the software because you're in school for it. ^^
It's called Academic Superstore, run a search for it. They have some killer discounts on stuff like that. (I had a friend of mine go through it for me and get me a new Wacom and Adobe CS4 Master Collection for more than half of what it would have cost me than if I would have spent the dollars on my own.)
Save those pennies and soon you'll get one. ^^
