I had some artistic freedom commissions. I was told to "create an animal design based on Starry Night."

My mind immediately went to a Baku: a Japanese spirit known to eat dreams. It resembles a tapir or elephant/tiger mix. I've tried to incorporate all of this into the design.
After that, I just had to slap him into the painting he was based on.
