key; soon if he's feeling even better they might let him out, with luck he'll be able to live a....relatively normal life and may-

chow: thats why im here, he'll be coming to live near me so i can keep an eye one him.

key: oh? well thats good, if fact thats better i'll be free to see him a lot more the-

chow: key i can risk that

key: -grips on to zals shoulders- ..what do you mean..

chow: wile i was gone you where the only one he relied on and you let him down....a lot, and i know how much he tried to stay 'safe', with you, maybe if you just let him be instead of always flitting back and forth, tricking him into thinking you would be there for him..

key: i-..I...i...

chow:....i know it wouldnt be easy with devon's threats hanging over you but after all thats happened...i cant let him face all that again, im taking all responsibility over him and....for now at lest, that means you cant be around him, i cant risk him falling back into that... madness ever again.

key: b-but!...devon..his threats are meaningless now...nothings-

zal: chows right you know.

key: zal..

zal: i'll be safer under chows watch besides, chow made a promise, to kill me if i ever snap again, thats easier to do if he knows where i am.

key:..but...

zal: its my choice too...not like i have one or that it matters mind you.

chow: sorry key...maybe once he settles you can visit.

zal is in a crazy house for boys! and key still pines over him!
after zal's crazed rain of horror chow (drake, key and others) defeated him but couldnt kill him even though it was probably the right choice chow couldnt, though he did promise to look after him and to 'take care' of him if he ever did it again....
chow also took control of (what was left) of devons pack, even though the new pack he was in (the ken~kens) had a feud with devon chow convinced them to help and even integrated the two groups.
although chow had control for a few months once both packs accepted one another he handed control over to ken ( the original leader to the ken~kens) he took to the sides lines, helping where it was needed and taking care of zal and his pups with drakes help.
eve though devon didnt die he did lose an arm and simply couldnt take control of his pack after what had happened....after the pack began to get back to normal he leaves to find chow and zals mother and try to make things right with her :C

key isnt that small but he is almost a year younger then zal and chow and zal is even stunted slightly...and chow is quite tall D:
