"Kaiju ga Gotoku - Light Vs. Darkness" by James Corck
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
"I have no master but the GODS! Sarasvati has spoken to me, for you to RETURN TO HER!"
"STOP PROFANING YOURSELF, THIS ISN'T YOU OJHA-SAN! You were supposed to be my darkness, protecting those beneath the light, WHY WOULD YOU TURN ON THEM?!"
"YOUR LIGHT MEANS NOTHING ANYMORE!"
A high priestess tries to save her childhood friend. A zealot strives to cleanse the city of impure souls. The battle for their city begins in the sky, a tower of heaven to escape the hell he wrought.

You can also check out the artist over on Deviantart, Newgrounds, Cohost or Bluesky!
So thanks to these commissions, I've managed to convert into a fan of Mothra, or perhaps awakened the fan in him he already was and he was very excited to do this one. The final battle between the pure descendant of a goddess, and her former friend-turned-religious terrorist deciding the fate of the city's future. This whole fight was largely inspired by one of the end battles of Yakuza 6, where a very cool high-tower bar set the scene with its very good mood lighting.
