A Dash of Creativity
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
I came back to continue practicing on my character head postures, just under the original picture of my logo. I let my ideas run free, and just kept going on and on...
I initially wanted to draw a head tilting posture, but my vivid memories of hard work last night kicked in. I pictured him holding a pencil (in the most awkward way possible because he can't draw with his wings or hind paws, for now), and I immediately recalled my ordeal last night. The picture explains what I was thinking (but my character can't do what I was doing!). The icon above was the lingering indentations on my paper after erasing, so I just reused it in an attempt to make a full picture. The brush used is actually the traditional chinese ink brush.
I drew the body details relatively quick because I had practice, but the angles, shading lines and distances might be slightly iffy. I was exploring a shading style to give shadows a texture that point towards the light source. It was interesting but still very primitive, worth taking the idea though.
