Dungeons & ... Nagas?!
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
So, today is September 1st. Autumn comes creeping in.
As the night falls it's time to snuggle down with blankets and candles...
... and go on an adventure! See below!

"Alright, as you slowly decend the stairs further down into the underground, the air gets thicker and it feels as if the darkness closes in on you..." Val explained with a low voice as she leaned in over the table, her eyes glowing dimly with excitement. Scad nervously scratched the back of his head and looked around at the others.
"Uuh, I'd like to roll for perception."
"Alright."
The soft clicks of dice against wood was heard.
"14."
"As you look further down into the dark corridor below, you might have seen a faint flickering blue light. But you really cannot be sure if you actually saw it, or if it was just a side effect of the torch you hold in your hand. Or perhaps, it was reflected in something shiny."
Scad looked around the table at the others. Rune and Tidko both nodded in silent approval, letting their characters carefully sneak their way down the stairs.
"At the bottom of the stairs the floor is flat and sandy. It almost looks like the upper floors of the pyramid. However, you recall that the last 2 floors had no sand. There must either be an exit somewhere here, or someone has been active here recently."
"What more do we see?"
"Nothing, really. Just stone walls and darkness. However, you..." Val pointed at Tidko who's eyes widened and she almost dropped her dice. "... you can hear a faint rattle in the distance."
Tidko looked at the others.
"Guys, I hear something. A rattle, something's moving down the corridor."
"I can check it out." Rune stated. "I'm by far the best opt-"
Scad reached over and bapped her.
"Don't split the party." he said with a grin.
Rune huffed, but smiled back at him.
"Alright alright, all together."
"I want to throw my torch down the corridor to see if something is lit up."
"Alright..." Val looked into her books and notes for a moment, adjusting her glasses before looking up at them again, peering over her DM screen.
"Alright, so... you hurl the torch through the corridor. It's not really meant to be tossed like this, so it doesn't go very far, but at least it stays lit. But as it lands in the sand, you hear a loud hiss. As the light from the torch flicker and climb up the walls, it also lights up a hideous creature that is standing before you..."
Tidko swallowed hard, and Rune gave her some reassuring backpats.
"... you have seen them before. It's a Naga. But this one is unusually large, in fact her body stretches so far back into the corridor that it disappears into the darkness. But different from the others, this one is not wearing armour. Instead, nothing but a red sash around her waist, golden torc and jewellry. Her icy blue eyes open glow in the darkness as her piercing gaze finds you. She opens her maw wide and hisses again. You notice a spellbook in her left hand. A crystal shard rises from her right hand with blue light flashing around it."
There was a dramatic pause at the table before Val grabbed her d20 and squinted at the others across the table.
"Roll for initiative."

So... as autumn comes my inner nerd gets stronger.
Due to Covid-19 I have not played D&D for 1,5 years.
I am starved. I long back for it...
Therefor, I'm now taking the step from the hardcover books and papers, and into the digital world. I'm looking for a group!
I have a Dungeons & Dragons 3.5 ed campaign planned, but I'm also really interested in joining a 5e game as a player.
If you're interested in participating in my campaign, feel free to hit me up! Right now, the preferred playday would probably be tuesdays.
I hope to see you guys around~

What plot/themes have you planned for your D&D 3.5 campaign if I may ask? :3
