That's no shame. Just wait until you reach the Dark World.

Question: At that point, upon entering the Dark World, would I just turn into a smaller fox or would I have to be a bunny? I mean, being a bunny might be fun, I just want a heads up.

It depends on what your inner self is like. Link became a pink bunny because of his innocence and a lot of the monsters were people who had a greedy heart (some of whom sought the Triforce).

...I'm gonna be a monster. Oh crap. I hope it's something dignified. Just not a Bokoblin. lol
