I took this photo on the first day of the event, where the sky tore open and released an ungodly flood for hours. The mud dried slowly and turned into clay by saturday. But what we lacked in sunshine, we made up for by socializing with each other across camps.
The location in Diemelstadt was indeed once a military rocket installation (Raketenstellung), but it has since been turned into a 40 Hektar wheatfield.
If you decide to visit DF again, pop by the green camp and say hello ^_^
But it was simply to time consuming =(

Three guys from the RED camp, the BLUE camp and the GREY camp are discussing whether it's better to take a wife or a mistress.
The knight from the RED camp argues: The only honorable thing is to take a wife. Everything else would be dishonest and deceitful to the one you love.
The pirate from the BLUE camp replies: Arr, but we're sailors and we might drown an' leave a grieving widow behind. Surely it's better to have a pretty lass in every port.
The intellectual from the GREY camp thinks about it for a while before adding: My esteemed colleagues; the only way is to take BOTH a wife AND a mistress. The wife will think you're with the mistress, the mistress will think you're with your wife...
and THEN you'll have the time to do some reading.
