Judy: Hoo boy, that was…how do I even begin to properly explain?
Nick: Start from the beginning Fluff, you know, the most obvious place.
Judy: I know that Nick! I just…It was pretty complicated.
Nick: I’ll say.
Judy: I mean, my Mom knew ahead of time about my feelings for Nick, even though I didn’t act on them for quite a bit longer after that. I had brought him back to Bunnyburrow a bunch of times before, like when he was injured during that bank heist. But bringing Nick back as my ‘mate’ was a whole different can of worms. Especially when it came to my Dad.
Nick: I’ll say.
Judy: Would you stop saying that?
Nick: What, it’s accurate.
Judy: *Sigh* You know, funnily enough, I think that was the same weekend Dawn and Vernon went to visit his family. Yeah, that’s right, it was the same time as Carrot Days. I guess we sort of ended up going through the same thing huh?
Nick: Same thing? I don’t remember Vernon coming back in a neck brace and with a broken leg!
Judy: Well that’s because you and Dad had to get into a fight on the Ferris Wheel! You didn’t think you might fall out of it?!
Nick: I wasn’t the one who forced us both onto it in order to 'learn to get along’!
Judy: Well the both of you were acting like kits! I thought it was the only way! And it sort of worked, I mean the both of you finally started to get along after spending a week in the same hospital room.
Nick: I suppose the ends justifies the means then Carrots?
Judy: N-no…
