Natsuki x Nicholas: Meet the Parents
And now it's that time we met the other's folks. Let's see how it goes.

The Folks
The day for meeting Natsuki’s parents came quickly. Nicholas still felt a little worried but he had his girlfriend to reassure him that everything would be alright. “Remember at least me mum will like ye love,” the Scottish Collie told her boyfriend as he drove over to the place. She had called her parents beforehand and they were expecting the two. The fosky and Natsuki were wearing regular clothes for this even though it was for dinner.
“Thanks for that babe,” he told her. The car pulled up and then came to a stop. “Well, here we go; I’m ready as I’ll ever be.”
They got out of the vehicle and holding paws, they walked up to the front door. The fosky took a breath and then ran the doorbell. The door opened to reveal an older female who had the same blue as her daughter but was solid in color for the fur. Her hair was white like Natsuki’s but the eye color was different. They did have the same height and build though. “Hey mum, we made it,” the younger female stated.
“Netsuke!” her mother said and looked to Nicholas with a smile. “Oh, and ye must be Nicholas. I’m Sophie.”
“Nice to meet you,” he replied, smiling as his girl’s mother also had the Scottish accent. It wasn’t nearly as cute as Natsuki’s though.
“Well, come on in.” The mother Scottish Collie led the way. “Patrick!” she called. “They’re here!”
Nicholas saw the house had things from the family’s native home and some Catholic works of art on the walls. But the place was nice. It wasn’t too hard to imagine a younger looking Natsuki having grown up in a loving home. And there in the dining room was an older male canine. He was pure white with hair that matched and Natsuki’s eye color. This had to be her father. His daughter and him got a smile as the male rose up from his chair and came over to hug her. “Hey there me wee little girl,” Patrick said warmly. “Ye look beautiful.” Like his wife the guy also had an accent.
“Oh dad!” the young female replied with a giggle. The two pulled back and Patrick looked to Nicholas and smiled at the young male.
“So ye must be Nicholas. We’ve heard so much about ye from Natsuki.”
The long-haired male let out a breath and the two shook paws. “It’s very nice to meet you sir,” the guy with glasses replied.
The four then sat down at the table since the food for dinner wasn’t ready just yet. There was a bit of an awkward silence for some moments until Nicholas noticed a bust in this room and pointed it out. Patrick was surprised that the fosky knew what it was. “I’m surprised,” the older canine said. “Ye don’t seem much like the religious art kind of guy.”
“I’ve watched some things on T.V. and saw the bust here appear,” Nicholas replied.
“Would ye like to look at her?” This was due to the bust being the head of a female.
“Sure, I’d like to.” Natsuki and Sophie smiled at the other as it seemed the two males had found something to connect with.
Her father and boyfriend went up to the bust. “This is just gorgeous,” Nicholas commented. “Where’d you even get it?”
“I managed to get a good deal on this when I was in Europe laddie,” Patrick replied. “It’s definitely real. I got it more for the artistic portion rather than religion.”
“Well this is really nice.”
“So where did you see this bust and learned about it?” Nicholas told him it was a show and Natsuki giggled, causing both to look at her.
“Me dad loves that show,” the young female said.
“That so?” the fosky asked and the two males began to talk about their favorite moments from the show and by then it was time to eat.
“This looks wonderful Sophie,” the long-haired guy told Natsuki’s mother.
“Aw, thanks laddie,” she replied. “So then, how did ye two meet?”
The two young ones were happy to talk about that. Nicholas noticed that Patrick was also smiling to. The fosky guess his girlfriend was right about him. Then he spoke after that explanation was finished. “Ye really care for me daughter, don’t ye laddie?” the older male asked.
“Yes sir, I really do,” Nicholas replied.
“Well, I think ye a fine young laddie. I can see ye taken care of her since she moved in the same building as ye.”
“Err… thanks.”
Natsuki giggled again and looked to her boyfriend. “He really has,” she stated with a smile.
“Well I do my best,” the long-haired male commented with a smile of his own. “I still would no matter how strictly religious you are even though she’s said that you and Sophie are a little more relaxed about it than others I’ve known.”
“So she mentioned that huh?” Patrick replied. “Well she’s right.” The conversation then moved on to other things and it turned out to be a wonderful dinner.
Nicholas and Natsuki left her parent’s house and he was grinning. “See love, told ye they’d like ye,” she said, holding onto his arm.
“Yeah, I’m glad,” he commented, looking at her. “Now onto my folks.” When it came to his parents, they thought Natsuki was an absolute delight and loved her. There was no problem with them at all. These meeting had gone well. Now the fosky and Scottish Collie’s love for the other was free to blossom and grow even more.
