Winter Came (On My Face)
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
What do we do in New England? We pack up base camp and head for the summit (i.e. shovel and blow snow).
We got ourselves a full-blown blizzard! Not half-blown, mind you. The full slushy. At one point, my right eye was completely packed with snow, which gave me the exact same sharp brain freeze headache you'd get if you ate ice cream too fast. Good tunes, good times.
I'm NOT a polar bear, god dammnit! I want to . . . want . . . SLEEEEEEP!
((this is a self-portrait. I did the hold arm out thing. Doesn't look half bad, if I do say so my damn self. *grins*))

You have a few methods for it: post process so it looks good, post process so it looks like you remember it, or post process so it looks like how you felt it.
Same goes with the cropping: you do it to enhance the photo in the sense that you focalize the viewer to what you want to show. your original lens crop may or not be quite what you intended.
Since the camera is not true to how you saw things, but more how they were, post processing (which the camera does) is part of picture taking. i am not talking of doctoring a photo, or composing something new based off photos.
