Seriously, yeah this piece was actually meant to be an ambient one that doesn't show a sharp outline. Do you know the soundtrack of the game "System Shock 2"? That's what I was shooting for. It is meant to be background music for something else.

That, and it was an exercise in a different production method. Interestingly enough, it's the ending that I'm least pleased with: the harmonies end in an unsatisfactory way, at least it doesn't sound as pleasing as it could.

Oh well, there's always Viral Exercise 2, and I'm currently working on Exercise 3, which focuses on rythm, panorama, and dynamics.

I'm looking forward to hearing your new stuff; and I'll try not to be too overly critical (I have my moments :P) ^.=.^

And actually I've never even played System Shock or System Shock 2.... so I've got nothing to really compare it to :( I wonder if I'd be able to find some samples for download....

Your criticism is good! It's constructive and intelligent. And trust me, I can live with you saying that this or that song wasn't to your liking, or that you found aspects of it lacking. That's why I enabled the comment function in the first place.

So, no I don't mind you being critical at all, because you do have a point. And I prefer that to blanket-praise.
