\n Running on ever nimble feet
\n Moonlight races through the shadows
\n Through the trees
\n Golden eyes in the dark
\n Hiding in velvet, soft
\n Paws to hands, pelt to skin
\n All the better to lure her in
\n The moon watches from above
\n As the hunter falls in love
\n Prey to lover, lovers till death
\n All the better to lure him with
\n Sweet sweat, rustled leaves
\n There’s a glimpse for moon to see
\n Yellow, orange, and gold
\n Black, silver, bold
\n Hunted caught before moon's sight
\n But who has hunter's right
\n Quick as lightning, flash like steel
\n One becomes the other's meal
\n
