A Sneaky Snack of Festive Pine
Title can't be empty.

It was the night before Christmas and not a chicky was stirring, not a single one at all.
Thump!
Sicily's awoke in her bed, startled by the unexpected sound from downstairs. It took her a moment to check the clock and realize what night it was, but then came the realization it was Christmas Eve.
"Oh come on," Sicily moaned as loudly as she could, rolling over in her bed, "I'm too old for Santa, go away and bother somebody else."
Perhaps it had just been a dream. But then as Sicily lay there and listened, she could hear the sound of rustling branches from the Christmas Tree, munching. What the Earthly was going on down there?
Might as well get up to investigate.
Moaning miserably, Sicily pulled herself out of bed and ruffled out her bed feathers to make sure they weren't a mess.
Then, stepping out of her room, she snuck her way down the hall and down the stairs to the floor below.
She ducked behind the kitchen counter blocking her view into the living room, and slowly rose her head to look over it.
And low and behold, there Priscilla the Parasaurolophus stood, half obscured, nibbling away at a delectable snack of festive pine needles from the household Christmas Tree.
"Why you sneaky big hunk of tree fluff!" Sicily squawked out accusingly, leaping up upon the counter and hanging over by the overhanging cabinet.
Priscilla looked up, first in shock, and then her face turned red, filled with all the guilt of a naughty little chick caught with their wing in the cookie jar.
And then Sicily burst out laughing-
Just as the shelf Sicily was hanging from slid from the cabinet, and the hen went tumbling to the floor.
Recovering herself, Sicily laughed all the harder.
Priscilla's face just flushed all the more.
She was never going to hear the end of this, was she?
