Some personal art of my secondary sona Doki.I had just completed this after having a horrible panic attack thanks to someone and I was finally in recovery. You can tell with how shaky the lines were and, well, while I'm not the proudest of this piece, I honestly really like the character and wanted to show that, truly.
I am no longer the scared little kid and going to let people bully me about their comfort and THEIR feelings at the expense of my own. I've been coddling, cuddling, hand holding, and basically babying people for far too long and throwing my own needs and my own boundaries away for everyone else. Not anymore. This last panic attack almost put me in the hospital, and it was over something really REALLY stupid.
So no. I am NOT the one.
Doki is based off of 90's anime shoujo backgrounds, and I love her more than life itself as she reminds me of the childhood I had to sacrifice to survive.
I don't like sharing that part with the world, but - you know? I'm still a person behind the pencil after all and, well, maybe there's others out there who can relate.
